"See?" Kiran said with a grin. "You're already questioning things."

As soon as Kiran spoke it was like being doused in cold water, he actually gasped for air a little and his head snapped up to meet the Garou’s gaze, though his own green eyes were saucer wide again. He blinked a few times and one could almost see the mental effort that it took to drag his brain to the screeching halt that it needed to be at right now. Kat’s vision was laser focused on the other man.

"If it helps," he said, leaning back. "We're all happy to give you the facts you need to know. But we're not shopping based on prior knowledge - we're shopping on temperament, commitment, and your personal views."

The Kinfolk blinked a few times, his vision blurring behind the wide-rimmed glasses. Almost as if he couldn’t stop it, a smile started forming at the Glasswalker’s words, and the more Kiran spoke the warmer the smile got, and the waterier his eyes became. In that moment Kat could never have found the right words to explain his feelings, they were overwhelming, but… maybe not in a bad way. Some part of him was aware of what all this meant. These people, people he had never met before, they believed in him, they really wanted him, and they were willing to help him learn what he needed to in order to help them and everyone else. He wondered if this is what Dex had felt like when he inherited his power from Frank, when he inherited the responsibility of protecting others. Dex had been scared too, of course he was… this was a big deal, but he could do it. Kat could do it too. He just had to remember that he wasn’t alone.

A few small tears sliding down his cheek. He nodded to Kiran as he pulled off the glasses with one hand in order to scrub his cheeks with the back of the other. “Sorry.” The apology was quiet and muffled a bit, but it couldn’t be helped. “Okay. I’ll do it. I- I want you to teach me what I need to learn to do it right…. but, I’ll do it.”

I don't always remember to nom folks, but when I do, I have to include the whole moment so the player in question can inflict their tear-jerking on the rest of game.
